Mobile Insulation System for Energy Reduction

The Mobile Insulation System for Energy Reduction (MISER) kit was designed and developed under an Air Force Small Business Innovation Research topic AF103-246. The MISER is an external insulative wrap for rigid wall shelters. It has been adapted for use in the Arctic and in several shelter configurations. Demonstrations have shown that adding an insulation add-on kit can provide a minimum 35% energy reduction in temperatures ranging from 40℉ to -40℉. The MISER kit is re-deployable, fast and easy to install insulation kit that will immediately start reducing energy and saving money.
